Good news! There are heaps of benefits of drinking a daily coffee including reduced risks of stroke, heart disease and long-term memory loss. On the flip side, excessive consumption of caffeine has a negative effect on your adrenal system and can raise cortisol levels, so we recommend no more than one coffee per day.
Is coffee allowed on the 8-Week Program?
Yep, a coffee each day isn't a problem and if you take yours with milk, full-fat only (yep, more good news!). We recommend no more than one coffee per day because over-consumption of caffeine can mess with your adrenal system, raising levels of the stress hormone cortisol.
There's a stack of different beverage options on the Program so make sure you try them as well! Some of our favourite options are: water or jazzed up water with apple cider vinegar or a wedge of lemon, herbal tea, milk, kombucha and coconut water.
Is coffee allowed on the 7-Day Reboot?
As we're giving your whole body a reboot, we recommend cutting out both coffee and alcohol for the seven days. Remember it's only for a short time!
Is coffee allowed on the Kickstarter Program?
Yep, but we still recommend you cut back on caffeine. We're not saying you need to ditch your daily brew completely, but if you can, reduce your caffeine intake.
